Business Card Templates:
There are websites you can go to to find designs and templates for Business Cards if you do no have your own. You can also find pictures or wallpapers on Google Search for your subject matter and send a design. We usually charge $35.00 an hour to design a business card from scratch, but if you send a template or a design to put on a background and all we have to do is add the company and contact information to the card then we charge a one time fee of $10.00. We will also save your business card design on our server under the client folder that we make for you so that if you need to get more business cards then we already have the template. Call and ask us how you can get the $10.00 fee waived. The best way to save money is to design the card your self.
UV Coating:
For 14pt. Gloss Coated Cover, UV Coating will be applied to the color sides, unless No UV Coating on Back is selected. If you select Color Front/No Back or Color Front/B&W Back, only the color side (front) will be coated.
File Format:
We accept the following file formats: .TIF, .TIFF, .EPS, .AI, .PSD, .JPG, .PNG & .PDF.
Resolution:
All file formats must have a minimum of 350 dpi (dot per inch) resolution at 100% of the final print size.
Images designed for the web typically cannot be used for printing as they have a low screen resolution of 72 dpi. Print images need to be created at 350 dpi or there will be a substantial drop in the image quality.
e.g. 3.5″x 2″ Business Card resolution: 350 dpi (1260 pixels x 735 pixels)
e.g. 6″x 4″ Postcard resolution: 350 dpi (2135 pixels x 1435 pixels)
Color Mode:
All color artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color mode.
All black & white artwork and/or images must be provided in grayscale color mode.
Bleed:
For all business cards except for the 2″ x 3.5″ with round corners and 2.17″ x 3.35″ with round corners: please build your print-ready digital files by adding 0.1″ bleed to each dimension. e.g. 3.5″x 2″ business cards with bleed is 3.6″x 2.1″
For the 2″ x 3.5″ business card with round corners and 2.17″ x 3.35″ business card with round corners, please build your print-ready digital files by adding 0.325″ bleed to each dimension. e.g. 2″ x 3.5″ business cards with round corners with bleed is 2.325″ x 3.825“
